The best casual dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Great food, attentive and thoughtful s creative cocktails. I’m excited to have such a great local place which offers a well thought out menu and drinks. They also have a great draft beer selection. The staff is attentive and friendly. This place is a class act and you won’t be disappointed. This is our second time visiting in a week! The hanger steak was awesome and the pappardelle was such a great comfort food dish. Enjoy!
New contemporary restaurant with great menu. I stopped in for lunch and had a really good chicken sandwich. Chicken cutlet was fresh, juicy and crispy on a toasted pita with crispy prosciutto , lettuce and tomato and mozzarella. French fries were also fresh and crispy. Also tried an eggplant on focaccia with roasted red peppers and was also very delicious. Everything on the menu sounds good and I might have to go back for the hanger steak. Lots of seating , big bar , lots of TVs. I was there on a Saturday and they only had one waitress waiting on like 4 tables and 6 people at the bar which was fine because we weren’t in a hurry but I could see it getting crazy.
What a great find! Had this place on my radar for a few weeks now and finally pulled the trigger. The atmosphere was very nice, the food was great and so was the service! Ordered two different drinks, both were very well made, presented with an artistic flare and tasted great. Had the octopus special, one of the best octopus dishes I have ever had!
The restaurant is pretty spacious and the aesthetics were warm and welcoming. The staffs were also very friendly and kind, and even offered to remedy our appetizer when it was overly seasoned and salty, which we really appreciated it. They offer a wide range of food and they were all pretty good and decent. Our favorite that evening was the calamari which was perfectly friend without it being too oily and without the coating falling off. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we would definitely come back for a chill, comfortable, and simple dinner! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:
Traveling for work, and was 9 minutes away in Boonton NJ. Checked this spot out, glad I did. Definitely adding this spot to my "fav restaurants in the area" for my traveling co-workers. I ordered the sushito peppers for my appetizer, they were awesome. I ordered the Wild mushroom flat bread with glad cheese from the specials menu....and holy cow was that one of the best flat breads I've had (see photo). Their craft beer selection is acceptable for a craft beer snob like myself. Will likely come here again once more this week while in the area!
I recently hosted my baby shower at The Black Rabbit Saloon, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the start, Brian was an incredible communicator—extremely accommodating and flexible, even when we made last-minute changes. The space is brand new - it’s clean, bright, and perfect for any gathering. The food was absolutely delicious (Brian even modified some menu options for us), the drinks were top-notch, and the modern bar added a great touch. On top of that, the staff was so friendly and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the experience! If you’re looking for a fantastic spot for a private event or just a great meal and drinks, I highly recommend
Came here for a quick lunch. The service was okay. It was very slow even though it wasn’t busy. Didn’t order much. My parents both enjoyed their beers. The wings were good. Crispy but juicy came with a few sauces. The buffalo wasn’t too spicy but did have heat. I forgot the others as I didn’t eat the others. The hummus and pita were okay my dad wasn’t crazy for it. The server never asked how I like my burger cooked but luckily it was the right way that I liked if. It was good. Nothing special. The chips were a bit soggy but not bad. Overall cute place with good music, slower service and okay food. Update: came back for Mother’s Day and the service was great! The bread was delicious and homemade. The rigatoni vodka was AMAZING! Also homemade. A little thick but delicious and creamy. The soup was on the thinner side of chowder but so flavorful. The dessert was a bit small but so good! Also Bryan the owner is so nice!!!!
Came here on a Friday night for a quick bite and a drink Alex was fantastic. We had a short time before we had to be back and were able to get an order of Escargot’s and two drinks! Great presentation and excellent taste of rich broth. We wanted more bread and Alex made it happen! Will be back again to try more food and drinks!
